Every year for Golden Week, people in Japan display flying carp streamers in honor of Children’s Day. Each color of the streamers represents a different member of the family. The dark blue/black is the father, red is the mother, light blue is for sons, and pink for daughters. However, we’ve also added green and purple so you can create a rainbow to show off your pride as well!

Our original Koi pin design was initially available in dark blue or red. We are now adding more colors to complete the family!
