Born in Jakarta, she pursued the American Dream and moved to New York City in 2010. She went to FIT for accessories design and found her passion in leather craft when she apprenticed with the iconic sandal maker Barbara Shaum in East Village. She continued to advance her expertise in leather, most recently at luxury brands Goyard and Coach. As a perpetual student, she is actively exploring other art mediums such as metal, fibers, and watercolor. She received a scholarship to attend Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in 2016 and took jewelry classes regularly at 92Y until the pandemic hit. After a formative decade, she now lives and works in sunny California with a converted garage as her studio.
